Google Nexus 10 Pros and Cons

For many months Google only produced smaller tablets while Apple produced larger tablets. Only recently did Google produce their own 10-inch tablet. You could say that they produced 10-inch tablets before, indirectly that is, through other Android tablets. Google called the larger version of their Nexus 7 the Nexus 10. We all wonder if it is worth selling our iPad to get it.
It seems that Google now wants to try to topple Apple from the throne and rule over the market of larger tablets. They even released the Nexus 10 a week after the launch of the fourth generation iPad. Its price is even extremely competitive. You can get it for only Rp3,836,133.57 Moreover, it seems that Samsung wanted to stab Apple again by helping Google with this new tablet.

Pros
As much as we love PCs more than Macs, Android gadgets tend to reign over Apple ones spec-wise. The Nexus 10 is thinner and lighter than the latest iPad. Surprisingly, despite its thinness and weight, its screen is even bigger than the iPad's (the iPad has a screen of 9.7 inches while the Nexus 10 has 10.055 inches).
What is the greater advantage of the Nexus 10 over the iPad 4? Well, its larger screen delivers a sharper display over the iPad's 4, despite the Retina Display. The display of the Nexus 10 has 300 pixels per inch, compared to the Retina Display's 264 pixels per inch. One improvement over the Nexus 7 is that the Nexus 10 has a rear camera. Moreover, its front camera, which is used for video chats, is even sharper than the iPad's. The Nexus 10 also has 2 GB of RAM, compared to the iPad 4's 1 GB of RAM.

Cons
How about the Nexus 10's weaknesses? We all know that the king of app ecosystems is Apple, and it seems that Google still is no match when it comes to tablet applications. Although there are thousands of apps in the Play Store, most of those apps are for smartphones and only a small number are optimized for smaller Android tablet computers. There are even fewer for the bigger tablets.
Despite the few apps available for the Nexus 10, it does have Google apps like Chrome and Google Earth. If you were disappointed with Apple when they kicked Google Maps off their Apple devices in their latest operating system, the iOS 6, you would probably love to sell your iPad for the Nexus 10, especially if you use the iPad for navigation.
So there you go. Those are the pros and cons of the Nexus 10. Let me tell you that the iPad 4 is still a great tablet computer. However, if you find it a bit expensive, why not settle for the Nexus 10 which is cheaper. Besides, if the display matters to you, the Nexus 10 has the better display, right? So if you want a great but cheap tablet despite fewer apps, I say, go for this latest Google tablet.
